April 6: Violet's First Wee Ball Game

Violet had her first Wee Ball game, which was interesting. She did ok.... pretty good for Violet. She went out there and hit the ball (after we forced a helmet on her head and made her keep it on), yanked the helmet off, and then ran the bases like she was supposed to do. She didn't pay any attention when she was in the field, but come on; I wouldn't try to fight a bunch of three and four year olds for a ball either. She was playing against David Luke, her best bud. They were pretty cute when they recognized each other. She ran the bases with him after he batted and they ran to each other when the game was over. She had fun even if she is just doing her own thing.
