Friday: Chalk

Annabelle and I were drawing with chalk. She always wants me to draw happy faces. This time she wanted a nose on the happy face. So I obliged. Then I drew ears and she had a fit! She is so rotten.

Interesting fact: if you draw enclose an ant with chalk, he cannot get out. An ant was in a butterfly wing I drew and couldn't get out. I eventually used a leaf to get him out, after watching him walk all through the wing. He would walk until he ran into some chalk, clean his legs, and then turn around. Fascinating, I know.

My special child wanted to give the ant the opportunity to draw with chalk. She kept saying, "Want chalk, Ant? Want chalk?" If we learned anything today, it's ants don't like chalk.

My rotten girl covered in chalk and jelly. But she's smiling for the camera!!!

You know, when Belle was asking the ant if it wanted chalk, she could've been just tormenting it by being sarcastic.

I love the dirty face smile!
