Happy New Years!

We went to the Duckworth home for New Year's Day to celebrate Austin's second birthday. We had lots of fun, and Doc got to go and play with his cousin Gracie (the Ducks' black lab). They had so much fun! I wish I had a video of them playing. He would steal her rope and then go hide where she couldn't get him. They were so cute! Annabelle was in a great mood and let everyone hold her.

The Birthday Boy! Austin spent the month of December constantly singing "Happy Birthday" to Annabelle. Now he sings, "Happy Birthday to me!"

Okay. This was Annabelle's one time to really act out, and of course it was during the photo session! We had real tears!


When we got home, Annabelle did not crawl once! She walked (and fell) until bedtime! She always carries something around when she walks. I guess she thinks that the only reason walking is helpful is because it's a lot easier to carry something when you are walking rather than crawling!
